Inspired by the lucky red envelope (hóngbāo), this design features a few good luck symbols such as the rabbit, lanterns, clouds, and the color red (Pantone’s 2023 Color of the Year- Viva Magenta). Feel free to color in and express your own creativity as well – I hope you enjoy it!
Melissa Lew’s tropical garden inspired jewelry (handmade and eco-friendly!) is now available at Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens in Florida! As a non profit zoo, your purchases and admission supports wildlife at the zoo and in the wild. Since 2014, they have invested over $2.5 million dollars to save plants and animals around the world.
They have a rich history in conservation…and this is a cause near and dear to my heart.
It’s here!!! Celebrate in style with my National Cherry Blossom Festival necklace and earrings, available at https://www.ncbfstore.org/shop or at various official National Cherry Blossom Festival events.
Happy first day of spring! Spring is my favorite time of year, and I’m so happy it’s here. The cherry blossoms will be hitting peak bloom this week and I’m excited to introduce my new cherry blossom design. The blossoms are fleeting, but I’m glad that I get to keep them close to my heart year round.

International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate the achievements of women across the world.
Can I be honest with you? It’s hard to celebrate when you see the tragedy and suffering in Ukraine.
To the women in the Ukraine who are fighting, on the front lines or to keep their families alive and safe, my heart goes out to you. You are courageous, strong, and brave.
To the women in Russia who are speaking out against this injustice, thank you for your bravery.
If you can, I encourage you to donate to organizations like World Central Kitchen. They are providing warm meals in Ukraine and for refugees crossing into Poland…I hope these meals provide some comfort, which is why I’ve made a monthly commitment myself.
Inspired by the national flower of Ukraine, please see below for a link to an 8’x’8 art print of sunflowers. Feel free to post on social media to show your support for Ukraine. It is also a high res jpg, suitable for printing/displaying at home.
I was reading today about how the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine, symbolizing resilience and unity…and this photo came to mind.
Tall, strong flowers reaching for the light. My friends in the Ukraine, my heart goes out to you all.
Friends in the US: World Central Kitchen is now mobilized in Ukraine and is providing meals. They are also in Poland providing meals to refugees at a 24 hour crossing point. I don’t know how else to help, so I will be making a monthly commitment to World Central Kitchen and I hope, if you are able, that you will consider it too.
